Description
Five days of intensive flying is the best way to rapidly improve your flying, whatever level you are at, but especially as an absolute beginner. Your course will start on a Monday and end on a Friday and during that time you’ll be flying with our professional instructors who’ll help you advance as quickly or as slowly as you require. As it’s a five day course, you’ll have time to see all aspects of the club and get to know many of the other members and staff. If you are coming from far away, there’s basic bunk room accommodation or camping available on site at member rates, there are also good hotels and B and B accommodation less than 10 miles away.
Included in the price
- 3 months membership, so you can continue flying at member rates after the course
- £750 of launch and flying fees at member rates. You may do more or less flying depending on your needs and the weather conditions.
What your Intensive course includes
- Morning briefings and one on one coaching
- A ground school session and debrief each day
- Flying charges at club members’ rates
- A three-month trial membership to continue training with us after completion of the course.
- A log book and progress card to monitor your progress
- An end of week review to discuss next steps.
- All flying and simulator time is charged at standard member rates. Price based on 5 aerotows, 20 winch launches and 5 hours flying time.
- Existing Cambridge Gliding Centre flying members do not pay the 3 month membership.
